
Sporting competition that takes you to the university. This program promotes running among students from 12 to 17 years old and awards them with full scholarships from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico.
The students register and participate in the World's Best 10K as a school team. There are three categories: Best time by a female team, Best time by a male team and Largest school team.

Rules:
1. Every participant must be registered in the 2011-2012 school year under the PR Department of Education or any other private educational institution. Participants must be between 12 to 18 years old. Students up to 21 years will be considered from schools with special education programs. School directors must submit a certification of all team members.
2. Teams must be from students from the same school. Male teams will have a minimum of 10 male students and female teams will have at least 5 female students.
3. Every team competes for the best time and student participation. Team times will be calculated with the best 10 male times and the best 5 female times. The "largest team" category will consider only students.
4. Only participants that finish the race will be considered for prizes.
5. Participants must complete and hand in their registration before January 31, 2012. Registration costs $35.00 and students receive $10.00 when with the cover of Primera Hora. Other members receive $5.00 off with the Primera Hora cover.
6. Every registration must be signed by the student’s parent or legal guardian.
7. The "Largest school team" special prize considers all participants: students, teachers, parents and school community.
8. Every participant that finishes the race will be eligible for category prizes and the WB10K raffle.
9. The schools that win scholarships must select a student that meets the University's criteria for financial aid.
